Let me share my fashion journey with you!
CEO , Creative Director Phylicia Dove was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. A young girl with with a heightened sense of fashion, she always held a presence when entering into a room. At a young age she began sketching and designing pillow cases for her bedroom. Soon after she was recreating shirts and denim with just a pair of scissors. By High School she began making her own clothes, many times using safety pins to accentuate the different styling. By the end of her senior year she was crowned Best Dressed for her originality and ingenuous style. Growing up in the conglomerate that is NYC inspired her throughout her life to be bold, to take risks and to stand apart from the crowd. She has a keen incite for what is in and what's to come.
Although Phylicia had been accepted to both Fashion Industries High School, and the Fashion Institute of Technology both highly respected and loathed fashion schools in NYC, and even later being accepted to Howard University for Fashion Merchandising she was unable to attend and grasp these opportunities, but she never let her dream die. She pursued careers in Politics, Law and Social Services after attaining a Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degrees respectively, all the while her creativity slowly taking a front seat in her life. She began styling her friends for events and speaking engagements as well as creative directing brand launches. In 2013, unable to to ignore the nagging passion of hers, she launched IamPhyNomenal. A social media blog bringing fashion to the forefront of her life. Her daily posts included, styling tips, fashion inquiries and motivational posts urging others to be their most phynomenalselves and chase their dreams. Her slogan was "There is no need for Plan B. It distracts from Plan A." And she began dedicating her life to pursuing her original Plan A.
Today Phylicia has a growing list of clients and has worked with celebrities and their teams such as Bianca and Yandy Smith from Love and Hip Hop: New York. She is a published stylist after creative directing a shoot for Mompreneur Masterminds to be featured in the December 2016 edition of Everything Girls Love Magazine. She has also been featured in a back to school special as the guest stylist for Buffalo, NY, Channel 4 News. Phylicia has two boys and a husband that support her dreams daily. In her view, she has had the opportunity to chase one dream and now she is able to live another. Welcome to her journey as she continues to make the world a PhyNomenal place!

Are you PhyNomenal?
Welcome to I AM PHYNOMENAL the movement! So happy to share what God placed in my heart a few years ago. Being Phy'Nomenal is more than being good it's about being GREAT! It's about knowing how fearfully and wonderfully made you are! This is my message to you today! There is no competition when you realize just how wonderfully you are made. Main Question: "What does it mean that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)?"
Answer: Psalm 139:14 declares, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” The context of this verse is the incredible nature of our physical bodies. The human body is the most complex and unique organism in the world, and that complexity and uniqueness speaks volumes about the mind of its Creator. Every aspect of the body, down to the tiniest microscopic cell, reveals that it is fearfully and wonderfully made.
